SAM's Toy Story

The SAM Welfare Team show off the toys before they are taken to the Salvation Army.

The SAM Mouldings Welfare Team recognize that Christmas isn’t a joyous and happy time for everyone, so every year the Team aim to ‘give something back’ to the community through fund raising activities. This year the theme is Christmas Toys, and to date the Welfare Team have raised £820.00 through the sale of raffle tickets, the prizes for which will be drawn at the SAM Christmas Dinner on Friday 14th December.

The toys will be distributed through the Salvation Army and will hopefully bring some big smiles on Christmas morning.

Grace McClean, HR Manager and Sammy Hyndman, Marketing Coordinator from the Welfare Team have been coordinating the purchase of the toys and have been inundated with positive feedback from the workforce. “The operatives who have seen the presents so far are really impressed and I think it has been really good for them to actually see what their money is buying” commented Grace.

Merry Christmas everyone.
