ON YOUR MARKS ... SET ... COMBILIFT!
 SAM has once again added another award to its already bulging and ever impressive trophy cabinet.
After purchasing a number of new Combilift side-loaders, SAM was given the opportunity for one of its employees to compete at the 2008 Driver of The Year Awards, held at Combilift’s global headquarters in Monaghan, Ireland during September.
There was only one man who was in pole position to take up the challenge – Jeff Cairns. Needless to say he did not disappoint, and after competing in a number of grueling and demanding events,
Jeff walked away with a runners-up trophy, much to his delight; “This has been a great experience for me, competing against some of the best fork-lift and side-loader drivers throughout the UK and Ireland. To finish as a runner-up means a lot and my focus is now on next year’s competition.”
Des Lowe, day shift Production Manager at SAM, was extremely impressed by Jeff’s performance. “This award highlights how accomplished a driver Jeff really is. He has done an excellent job by finishing as a runner-up, and has certainly proved that SAM Mouldings is the market leader in more than just MDF.”
Everyone at SAM would like to congratulate Jeff for his award winning performance, and let’s hope he can combiLIFT his podium finish this time next year!
